Big Week for Town and Country Teams!!!
WOW!!! There's so much to report!!
Jamie and Maggie Q'd all three days that they showed, so Maggie now has her RA! Woohoo! They finished strong with a score of 91 and second place (tying for first, but going "a little bit slower" than the other dog) on their last leg. Way to go! That's like a score of 100+++++ for a Bulldog. See Jamie and Maggie below.
Pat and Montana Q'd both days they showed, so Montana just needs one more leg for his RN! Way to go with such a young dog!
Kay and Jesse got their first leg of their RA - overcoming many obstacles. I am so proud of this great team!
Rachel and Luke Q'd both days they showed - winning their class on Saturday (and I am not sure about Sunday since FKC hasn't posted results yet). Just one more leg to go! This team is really something to watch - and will breeze through their titles.
Rachel and Luke with their first place ribbon and toy!
Jenn and Otis Q'd on the one day that they showed... Thursday. Otis was a star, as always, and won his class with a score of 96 on their first time out. This team is adorable to watch and has only been through one Rally class so far. Way to go, guys! Keep it up!
June and Penny finished their RN with not quite as stellar a performance as her first two legs - she had a 92, losing points by treating the first go at the pylons like they were weave poles! Once Penny caught her, she had a pretty good finish!! We are all very proud of the June Bug.
Murphy (Montana's brother) went Winners Dog/BOW on Saturday for 2 points. He now has 9 points/both majors at age 12 months. (went reserve on Friday and Sunday)
Darby (Murphy's and Montana's sister) went Winners Bitch/BOW on Sunday for 1 point. She now has 7 points/one major. (went reserve on Friday and Saturday)
Mickey won this past week in conformation. He took Best of Breed on Wednesday and Best of Winners on Saturday and Sunday. That's 10 points now. Yeah! Congrats Jan and Mickey!
And last, but certainly not least ;-), me and Remy had a great agility weekend snagging two first place runs and a second place run. We almost got another 1st place, and would have if we had not taken that trap jump!!! We had a blast! Look at my boy smile!!
Thank you, Ian Stewart, for this wonderful photo!
Congratulations to everyone!
